We never sell your personal information. We share it only where we need to, with:

- Bodies we must notify to install your system: your electricity network operator (DNO), the MCS certification scheme and our certification body (NAPIT), Building Control, and, for boilers, Gas Safe Register.
- Our insurance-backed protection provider (HIES), which protects your deposit and our workmanship warranty.
- Our finance broker, if you choose to apply for finance (see section 5).

5. Finance applications
If you choose to spread the cost, your finance application is made with Ideal Sales Solutions Ltd, trading as Ideal4Finance, which is a credit broker and handles your application under its own privacy policy. We receive the information we need to know whether your finance has been approved.
6. Transfers outside the UK
Some of our service providers store or access data outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area or the United States. Where they do, we rely on the protections UK law requires, such as the UK’s adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement and Addendum.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not go ahead: up to 2 years after we were last in touch, then deleted.
- Customers: for as long as your warranties run (our workmanship warranty is 10 years) plus 6 years, so we can honour them and meet our legal and tax obligations.
- Video and written reviews: until you ask us to remove them.
- Referral records: until any reward is paid, then as long as our accounting records require.
- Call recordings and messages: as long as they are part of your enquiry or customer record.

- ask us to delete your information, or to limit how we use it;

| Booking calendars (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector) | Our appointment calendars are provided by our CRM supplier and may set their own cookies to work. | Set by the provider |
| Embedded videos (YouTube, privacy-enhanced mode) | Our guide videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set tracking cookies until you play a video. | Set by YouTube |
Our quote site, quote.eco2ultd.co.uk, also uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how our Facebook adverts perform, and first-party analytics to see how visitors use the page. You can clear or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings at any time.
10. Keeping it safe
We use reputable, secure providers, encrypted connections, private storage for photos and videos, and limit access to the people in our team who need it. No system is completely secure, so if something does go wrong we will act quickly and tell you and the ICO where the law requires it.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we use personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. See also our Terms and Conditions.
