Hanchu ESS
Hanchu is our lowest-cost way into storage and it is a perfectly good battery: heated Blade LFP cells that keep working through a British winter, a 12-year manufacturer warranty, built-in fire suppression, and it bolts onto an existing array without touching the panels. What it does not do is scale or integrate the way the systems above do. It tops out at 9.4 kWh per system, there is no built-in EV charging and no whole-home backup, and the app is basic. If the budget stretches to EcoFlow or Sigenergy, that is where we would point you.
