The EP Cube puts the hybrid inverter, emergency power supply and battery into a single unit, which makes it quicker to install and cleaner to look at than a separate inverter and battery stack. Each battery module is under 42 kg and up to 5 kWh, so the system scales from 5 kWh to 40 kWh, choose what fits today and add more later.
Its built-in Home Energy Management System runs the house around your solar, your tariff and the weather: up to three peak, mid-peak and off-peak windows for charging cheap and discharging expensive, automatic charging when wholesale prices dip, and pre-charging ahead of a forecast storm. It is Virtual Power Plant ready.
It works with new and existing solar, high-power modules, microinverters, optimisers and EV chargers, connects over Ethernet and Wi-Fi, updates itself over the air, and is monitored from the EP Cube app. Backup for essential circuits needs the external Smart Gateway.
